Ieri, BMW a dezvelit doua noi modele ce vor merge la vanzare in toamna aceasta: BMW ActiveHybrid 7 si ActiveHybrid X6. Ca de obicei, o mare colectie de fotografii si comunicate de presa foarte detaliate au fost trimise mass-mediei, inclusiv noi videoclipuri comerciale ce arata noua tehnologia BMW hibrid, precum si unele secvente cu aceste masini.

BMW ActiveHybrid 7 este alimentat de actualizatul motor V8 biturbo cu injectie directa de inalta precizie ce ruleaza impreuna cu un motor sincron in 3 faze si ofera o productie combinata de 455 CP si un cuplu maxim de 700 Nm. Puterea este transmisa printr-o cutie automata in 8 viteze avand motorul electric pozionat intre motor si convertorul de cuplu.

Pe de alta parte, X6 Hybrid foloseste un motor V8 biturbo pe benzina de 400 CP si doua motoare electrice sincrone care furnizeaza 91 CP, respectiv 86 CP. Valoarea maxima a sistemului este de 480 CP si un cuplu maxim ce ajunge la 780 Nm.
